Datally is free during the community phase. When we introduce paid tiers, they will focus on team features, batch automation, and priority support. Core data standardization features will remain accessible. Community members will receive early notification and preferential pricing.
The application itself is not open source, but the ecosystem around it is open — demo datasets, validation rule templates, and model configurations are community-contributed and freely shared. The product roadmap is transparent and shaped by community feedback.
The desktop app runs entirely on your machine. All AI processing uses local models via Ollama. Your data never leaves your infrastructure. The online demo processes data server-side but deletes everything after each 30-minute session.
Core data standardization features (mapping, translation, validation, consolidation) will remain accessible. Future paid tiers will focus on team collaboration, batch automation, and enterprise support. Community members will be notified 60 days before any pricing changes.
